Fine-Blend SAG-008
Fine-Blend SAG-008 is a random styrene-acrylonitrile-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer. The SAN chain has good compatibility with several polymers, and the GMA monomers are highly reactive with various chemical groups such as COOH, NH2, OH, etc.
Thus, SAG-008 is an effective chain extender for a variety of prime and recycled polymers that have those chemical groups like polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides, and polyurethanes, and for alloys of these polymers.
Fine-Blend SAG-008 is highly recommended for applications in opaque and recycled PC or PC/ABS. By reacting with end-groups of PC, it improves melt viscosity and processability, chemical stability, mechanical and impact properties, and typically reduces the gloss level.
Fine-Blend SG-20
Fine-Blend SG-20 is a new chain extender with a very high content of GMA groups. It is very reactive and recommended for polyesters (PBT, PET) and polyester-based biopolymers like PLA and PBAT.
Fine-Blend ECO-1120
Fine-Blend ECO-1120 is a chain extender specific for transparent polycarbonate.
