AESSE S&D represents specialty surface modifier additives from Javachem. These are used to reduce scratch & mar in TPO and other polyolefins, SEBS, TPV and EVA. They are used extensively in Automotive Interior Systems where scratch & mar is important without contributing to odor or VOC emission, and the product needs to age well. These products can be added at the press or used in compounding, they disperse well and remain anchored in the substrate. They do not continue to exude or migrate to the surface and will not inhibit painting. They contribute to changing the optical properties of the surface, which changes the reflectance of light and reduces the appearance of scratches.
