Fine-Blend Chain Extenders
The recycled polyester or polyamide materials often degrade seriously after many times shearing or thermal history, which leads to broad molecular weight distribution. Eco-BatchTM has a high concentration of epoxy groups, which can react with the terminal groups of the recycled polyester or polyamide to prevent further degradation, increasing the melt viscosity and improving processing stability.
Fine-Blend SAG-008
Styrene-acrylonitrile-glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer SAG-008 is highly reactive with chemical groups, such as COOH, NH2, OH, et cetera.
As a result, SAG-008 is an effective chain extender for polymers like polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides, polyurethanes, and alloys of these polymers.
With a compact reactive system with PC end-groups, Fine-Blend SAG-008 improves the melt viscosity, processability, chemical stability, and mechanical properties and reduces gloss levels.
Fine-Blend SG-20
The Fine-Blend SG-20 chain extender consists of many GMA groups; it is very reactive and suitable for polyesters (PBT, PET) and polyester-based biopolymers like PLA and PBAT.
Fine-Blend ECO-1120
The Fine-Blend ECO-1120 chain extender is explicitly designed for transparent polycarbonate.
