About Phlamoon 1090A
Proprietary Zero Halogen - This flame retardant, compounded by several halogen-free flame retardants, is environmentally friendly, which is complied with RoHS and can reach V-0 FR level when used in copolymer PP. The final product has the feature of low density, and indirectly reduce the adding cost for the customer.
This is a unique product that we are also able to offer as a masterbatch- 75% loaded.
The key to this is that in a polypropylene system, Phlamoon 1090A provides you with the V-0 flammability rating at a 20% loading, which is less than the normal halogen-free flame retardant.
This chart shows the advantages of Phlamoon 1090A in price, density, processing performance, mechanical properties, and thermal stability. Thermal stability is another key feature of this product; it is much more stable than other phosphate-based intumescent flame retardants.
